Trekroneren, Kong Oscars gate 5. Amazing hot dogs in Bergen's answer to the great Finnish «makkara ikkona»-tradition (sausage window). Open till very late, many spicy options to choose from. NOK 40.
Victoria pub, Kong Oscars gate 29. Small menu, small prices, not so small plates. NOK 80.
Thai Curry House, Nedre Korskirkeallmenningen 11. Good and freshly prepared food, but service can be a little slow. NOK 80-150.
Sze Chuan house, Nedre Korskirkeallmenningen 9. Decent and very reasonably priced chinese food. Scaringly fast service. NOK 80-130.

Pygmalion, Nedre Korskirkeallmenningen 4. Cafe with organic food, several veggie dishes, pasta and a good burger. NOK 100-150. Take away.

Naboen Pub & Restaurant, Sigurds gate 4, +47 55 90 02 90, Open from 4PM every day. An informal restaurant with two price ranges: You can get the best priced gourmet food in town, or you can go for the cheaper "Swedish" menu. For dinnertime dining you need a reservation or try the rather crowded pub downstairs - they serve the "Swedish" menu there too. Main courses from the swedish menu are from kr. 80-150, main courses from the gourmet menu are from NOK 180-280.
Pingvinen, Vaskerelven 14, +47 55 60 46 46. A very nice, but usually crowded bar where you can also get a good portion of Norwegian food. Food available throughout opening hours, table reservation a good thing. One of very few venues where genuine Norwegian homecooking - and large bowls of popcorn - are available. Nice prices on food and drink, main courses from NOK 90-180.
